Director of National Centre for educational quality assurance foundation (ANQA) Ruben Topchyan received Adviser to the Director on Research affairs of European and international relations directorate of the France Ministry of Higher Education and Research Jean-Luc Clément.
Mr. Clément is in Armenia for getting acquainted with the Armenian higher education system and its peculiarities.
The experts’ report preliminary versions are sent to five universities that are passing accreditation. ASUE, Yerevan Agricultural University, Yerevan Haybusak University, Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University and Public Administration Academy are passing accreditation.
These universities earlier had presented self-analysis to ANQA, then during April-May experts visits to universities took place. Now the preliminary version of experts’ report is sent to each university.
The 9th general meeting of the Armenian National Students’ Association ended with a seminar dedicated to TEMPUS programs. One of the programs is “Ararat”.
Ruben Topchyan, director of ANQA, made a speech on “Ararat. Discussion of goals: trust building”. Mr. Topchyan informed students about the aims of the program, then they discussed present problems and their reasons.
On June 4-5 in Gloucester, Great Britain, ANQA staff participated in a workshop dedicated to introduction of transnational education.
The workshop was held within the TEMUS program “Promoting quality and recognition of transnational education in Armenia and Georgia”.
The experts’ visit within the accreditation process to Armenian State University of Economics, RA State Public Administration Academy and Yerevan Agricultural University is over. Earlier the experts had made visits to the Yerevan Haybusak University and Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University.
