ANQA implements quality assurance processes through institutional and programme accreditation in preliminary, vocational and higher educational institutions. Our goal is to support tertiary level institutions to create a quality culture in accordance with the legislation of RA.

In the first quarter of each year, ANQA presents report about its activities and goal achievements of the previous year to the Governing board. After being approved by the Governing board, the report is published on the foundation's official website.

Since its establishment, ANQA has been working hard on adopting a model of its internal quality assurance that would drive its effective management. Many strategies have been adopted, put into practice to promote its effective and efficient functioning. Thus, a bottom-up approach to ANQA internal quality assurance has been opted for to enable the establishment of a system that works and yields positive outcomes.

ANQA has adopted an input-, process- and output-based approach to its management and quality assurance, thus, all the activities run by ANQA are broken down to 9 quality assurance processes. To manage the processes an organization tool in the form of a protocol elaborating on the targets, indicators, activity plans and quality assurance tools has been developed.
