The site visit to Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema started within the framework of the institutional accreditation process. On May 16-20 the expert panel will have meetings and discussions with the YSITC rector, vice rectors, deans, heads of chairs, teaching staff, self-assessment implementation team, students, alumni. They also will make the resource review.
The head of the expert panel is Mkrtich Ayvazyan, vice rector of the Yerevan State academy of fine arts. The other members of the panel are Levan Khetaguri, leading expert of cultural research of Ajara Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sport, president of Stichting Caucasus Foundation, Iuri Mgebrishvili, Associate professor of Ilia State University, professor of Arts and Culture Research, Geghetsik Grigoryan, lecturer at ASUE, Associate professor, Misha Tadevosyan, student of ArmSPU.
The accreditation process is coordinated by ANQA foundation.
Prior to the site visit, the expert panel implemented a desk review according to the self-assessment of the educational institute. After the visit, the expert panel will sum up the results and present the final report. Based on the report the university should create a follow-up plan.
The last phase of the accreditation process will be the decision of the Accreditation Committee.
