On November 18-21, as part of the T-GREEN project, a workshop for the development of green joint/double master's programmes took place in Vilnius. ANQA was represented by Anahit Terteryan, specialist at the Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division, and Lilit Ghazaryan, specialist at the Secretariat.
The workshop addressed a number of methodological issues, such as aligning curricula with the outcome-based education principles, integrating sustainability, designing innovative modules, and refining assessment methods. The participants presented the drafts of their joint/double master’s programmes, which covered the fields of "Green Economy and Management", "Blockchain and Digital Currencies", and "Sustainable Cities".
EU partners shared their practice in developing double degree programmes, attaching importance to the enhancement of programme alignment and learning outcomes.
"Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future" (T-GREEN) is a three-year project that addresses the need of reforming graduate education in Armenia in support of the Green Deal and enabling the shift from traditional to future-oriented, green, and interdisciplinary curricula, as well as by promoting student mobility and designing collaborative degree implementation schemes.
Capacity building of national and institutional administrators, decision and policymakers, educators, researchers, and students to integrate the Sustainable Development Goals targeting environmental issues into policies and educational content will be the core of the project.
