On September 26-29, within the scope of the re-accreditation process, ANQA’s expert panel is at the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography.
The chair of the expert panel is Lilit Badalyan, head of the Chair of Linguistics and Communication Theory, Candidate of Philological Sciences. Other members of the expert panel are Tigran Simyan, professor at the Chair of Foreign Literature of the Faculty of European Languages and Communication, Yerevan State University, Doctor of Philological Sciences, and Haykuhi Mukoyan, a teacher at the Chair of Fine Arts Armenian of the State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Lilya Grigoryan, a student at the Faculty of Art Education of the same University.
Nazira Mukusheva, film critic, professor at the Faculty of Arts of the Kazakh National University, Candidate of Arts, is included in the accreditation process as an international expert.
The coordinator of the expert panel is Meri Barseghyan, a specialist at ANQA’s Policy Development and Implementation Division.
For the first day of the site visit, meetings are planned to be held with the YSITC’s management staff, members of the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, representatives of the Board, employers and alumni. During the following days, the experts will continue meeting-discussions with the education institution’s other internal and external stakeholders for the observation of changes made after the previous accreditation, the existing challenges and the future directions of development.
The next process coming after the site visit is the preparation of an expert panel report, which points out the strengths and weaknesses of the education institution and contains the recommendations of the expert panel.
ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the institution’s representatives and experts.
