On July 6-8, ANQA’s expert panel is at Erebuni Medical Academy Foundation. Prior to the site visit, the expert panel examined the self-evaluation and documents attached, as well as conducted an observation of practice and resources.
On the first day of the site visit, the experts will have meetings with the rector, vice-rector, members of the Board of Trustees, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, heads of chairs, managers of academic programmes and employers.
As part of the site visit, “professional talks” with teachers, students and managers of the APs "Nursing", "Medical Cosmetology" and "Dental Technology” are also planned. The head of the expert panel is Hermine Grigoryan, dean at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. The members of the expert panel are Roza Grigoryan, teacher, head of the Chair of Dental Technology and Pharmacy at Kotayk Regional State College, Heghine Gevorgyan, senior laboratory assistant at the YSU’s Chair of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Vahe Hovhannisyan, a student at Ararat Regional State College. The international expert is Alexey Kryukov, deputy director for Educational Activity at Kursk State Medical University, Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences. The expert panel’s coordinator is Roza Babayan, the specialist at ANQA’s Policy Development and Implementation Division.
The next process coming after the expert panel’s site visit is the preparation of an expert panel report, which points out the strengths and weaknesses of the education institution and contains the recommendations of the expert panel. ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the institution’s representatives and experts.
