This year, ANQA celebrates its 15th anniversary. On this occasion a conference "Economic Growth through Skill Development" is scheduled for December 6.
The conference for VET institutions’ stakeholders aims to discuss how the educational system can contribute to economic growth, as well as facilitate dialogue and cooperation opportunities between employers and VET institutions.
Anahit Terteryan, specialist at ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division, will deliver a presentation "Innovation, Entrepreneurship and VET System: How to Take Part in Economic Growth”, sharing the existing statistics and challenges.
Two panel discussions are also planned. The focus will be on how VET institutions can align their curricula with the industry’s evolving needs, producing a skilled workforce and contributing to the economic growth.
Next on, speakers will discuss how investments in VET institutions lead to measurable economic outcomes, including increased productivity, reduced unemployment, and augmented GDP.
The conference participants will be welcomed by ANQA Director Ruben Topchyan, Deputy Minister of RA MoESCS Araksia Svajyan and AUA’s Dean of General Education Sharistan Melkonyan.
On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, ANQA plans to organise various events in the coming months, engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
