On September 10-13, ANQA’s expert panel is at Vardenis Medical and Humanitarian College.
The chair of the expert panel is Hermine Grigoryan, dean at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor. The members of the expert panel are Hayarpi Javrushyan, head at the Chair of Natural Sciences of the University of Traditional Medicine, YSU’s researcher, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, Gohar Sargsyan, quality assurance manager at Yerevan State Basic Medical College, Manvel Gevorgyan, a third-year student at the Finance Department of Tamamshev State Agricultural College.
The coordinator of the expert panel is Anahit Terteryan, a specialist at ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division.
Prior to the site visit, the expert panel had studied the education institution's self-evaluation report, the documents attached and carried out desk review.
On the first day of the site visit, the expert panel conducted class observations and resource observations, met with the education institution’s management and teaching staffs. During the site visit, meetings will also take place with students, alumni, representatives of employers, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation and other stakeholders.
Within the scope of the process, “professional talks” with the managers, teaching staff, and students of the Aps "Nursing", "Pharmacy" and "Medical Cosmetology" are also planned.
The next process coming after the site visit is the preparation of an expert panel report, which points out the strengths and weaknesses of the education institution and contains the recommendations of the expert panel.
ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision whether to grant accreditation (for two, four or six years) or reject it after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the education institution’s representatives and experts.
Let us recall that this is the re-accreditation process of Vardenis Medical-Humanitarian College. In 2021, the education institution was granted conditional institutional accreditation for a period of two years.
