From November 14-17, within the scope of the accreditation process, ANQA’s expert panel is at the Yerevan State Base Medical College.
The chair of the expert panel is Anna Poladyan, doctor of the Chair of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Biotechnology of Yerevan State University. Other members of the expert panel are Davit Ghazaryan, a teacher at the Chair of Pathophysiology of Yerevan State Medical University, Lilit Abelyan, a quality assurance manager at Kotayk Regional State College, Edita Kasinyan, a student at the Department of Food Technologies of Armenian National Agrarian University
The coordinator of the expert panel is Meri Barseghyan, the specialist at ANQA’s Policy Development and Implementation Division.
During the desk review process, the experts studied the College's self-evaluation and the package of documents attached. They also carried out resource observation and class observations.
On the first day of the site visit, meetings were held with the College’s director and deputy directors, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, employers, and alumni.
In the following days, the experts will continue the discussions with the College’s other stakeholders. Within the scope of the process, meetings will also be held with the managers, teaching staff, and students of the APs "Midwifery", "Pharmacy" and "Medical Cosmetology".
The next process coming after the site visit is the preparation of an expert panel report, which points out the College’s strengths and weaknesses and contains the recommendations of the expert panel.
ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the College’s representatives and experts.
