On July 3-6, within the scope of the accreditation process, ANQA’s expert panel is at Yerevan State Humanitarian-Technical College.
The chair of the expert panel is Andranik Arakelyan, Associate Professor, Candidate of Technical Sciences at the Chair of Thermal Energetics and Environmental Protection of the Institute of Energetics and Electrical Engineering, National Polytechnic University of Armenia. The members of the expert panel are Armine Matentsyan, a teacher at the Chair of Tourism and Service of the European University of Armenia, Marine Galubyan, an accountant at Sanare-Pharm LTD. The student expert is Artur Davtyan, a third-year student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Mechanics, Department of Statistics, Yerevan State University. The coordinator of the expert panel is Lilit Ghazaryan, a specialist at ANQA’s Secretariat.
During the previous weeks, the expert panel conducted resource observation and participated in the students’ state final examinations. On the first day of the site visit, meetings were held with the institution’s director, vice directors, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, the governing council, alumni, and employers.
On July 4, the expert panel will hold “professional talks” with the managers, teaching staff, and students of the Aps "Organization of Tourist Services with Advanced Knowledge of a Foreign Language”, "Clothing Modeling and Design" and "Finance". The next process coming after the site visit is the preparation of an expert panel report, which points out the strengths and weaknesses of the institution and contains the recommendations of the expert panel.
ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the institution’s representatives and experts.
