In its decisions on the accreditation of institutional capacities of the HEIs, ANQA’s Accreditation Committee defined that these institutions should conduct an internal audit of their academic programmes, involving external experts.
ANQA states that the results of the academic programmes’ internal audit will be considered as part of the monitoring and reaccreditation of the HEIs. The reports on the HEIs’ follow-up plans will also be a key focus.
Let us note that according to the Accreditation Statute:
- The accredited institutions are obliged to conduct an institutional internal evaluation every two years.
- The institutions awarded conditional institutional accreditation are obliged to submit a written report to ANQA every six months, highlighting the enhancements achieved.
