On June 13-16, ANQA’s expert panel is at Eurasia International University. The chair of the expert panel is Karen Trchunyan, a professor at the YSU’s Chair of Biochemistry, Microbiology and Biotechnology. The members of the expert panel are Aida Tadevosyan, teacher at the Chair of Law, European University of Armenia, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Armenuhi Sargsyan, director of Scientific Policy, Quality Assurance and Management Center, Shirak State University, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Hans-Jürgen Duchstein, a teacher at the University of Hamburg, is included in the accreditation process as an international expert. The student expert is Sergey Abrahamyan, a master’s student at the Department of Management, European University of Armenia. The coordinator of the expert panel is Meri Barseghyan, the specialist at ANQA’s Policy Development and Implementation Division. On the first day of the site visit, meeting discussions were held with the HEI’s rector, vice-rectors, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, strategic project managers, alumni and employers. During the following days, the experts will continue discussions with the HEI’s other stakeholders. Within the scope of the process, “professional talks” with the managers, teaching staff, and students of the Aps "Management", "Law" and "Pharmacy" are also planned. The next process coming after the site visit is the preparation of an expert panel report, which points out the strengths and weaknesses of the HEI and contains the recommendations of the expert panel.
ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the HEI’s representatives and experts.
Let us note that Eurasia International University was accredited for the second time in 2019, for a period of four years.
