The 10th ENQA General Assembly will take place on 17-18 October 2019 in Yerevan, Armenia.
According to ANQA Director Mr. Topchyan, this conference is the logical continuation of the Ministerial Summit of the European Higher Education Area in Armenia in 2015; The Yerevan Communiqué emphasized student-centered education, and now the same discussion will continue in terms of quality assurance.
During the two-day event, the program of the 10th ENQA General Assembly will focus primarily on the challenges and the future of higher education quality assurance as well as ENQA’s role to play in these future developments. A consolidated version of the ENQA Strategy 2021-2025 will also be presented. Besides, during the Conference, the issues of post-Soviet countries in the field of QA, the opportunities for regional cooperation and joint accreditation will be discussed.
Among the participants are more than 100 educational management and QA specialists presenting ENQA member QA agencies.
The participants will be welcomed and greeted by RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan, the Director of the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Ruben Topchyan and the President of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education Christoph Grolimund.
The organizers of the General Assembly are ENQA and ANQA.
On October 16, a pre-event entitled “Discover Armenian Culture with ANQA” will be held before the main conference, during which foreign guests will have the opportunity to get acquainted with several Armenian historical and cultural monuments, Armenian cuisine, and several ritual traditions.
