On December 2, ahead of the start of the programme accreditation, ANQA carried out monitoring of academic programmes at the Artsakh State University. Within the scope of monitoring, meetings were held with the academic programmes’ managers, teaching staff, students and quality assurance managers. During the visit, changes in the HEI's academic programmes after the previous accreditation, as well as the provisions of the follow-up plan for the purpose of reforming the programmes were observed.
The monitoring’s key discussion topics were:
- the conduct of comparative analysis for the enhancement of academic programmes;
- the reflection of Artsakh’s uniqueness in the assignments geared towards preparing specialists;
- the processes aimed at the preparation of specialists with research skills;
- the mechanisms for accumulation and transfer of good practice in teaching;
- the processes aimed at academic programmes’ quality assurance and implemented mechanisms.
At the end of the visit, during the meeting with the management staff of the institution, the results of the monitoring were discussed with consideration of the necessary requirements for the conduct of the programme accreditation and upcoming works.
