On November 19, as part of the “Student Week” programme, the Ararat Regional State College held a meeting with the participation of Meri Barseghyan, specialist at ANQA’s Policy Development Division and coordinator of the "Students’ Voice" project. Artur Davtyan, member of ANQA’s Accreditation Committee, former student expert, as well as Inga Harutyunyan and Shushanna Karapetyan, student experts, alumni of the education institution, were also present.
Meri Barseghyan presented the importance of student participation in quality assurance and accreditation processes, addressing the following key issues:
- the student involvement in quality assurance processes;
- the impact of student needs’ assessment on educational reforms;
- the accreditation role in increasing the credibility of education.
Additionally, the participants were introduced to the "Students’ Voice" project, opportunities for student participation in ANQA’s processes, and career prospects in education management. The meeting aimed to raise student awareness and encourage their participation in the enhancement of the education quality. The student experts discussed the role of students in quality assurance processes and shared their experiences as student experts.
ANQA’s representatives urged students to actively engage in the enhancement of education quality, joining the "Students’ Voice" project and participating in regular training courses for student experts.
