During May 2-5, ANQA’s expert panel was at Grigor Narekatsi University within the framework of the accreditation processes. The chair of the expert panel is Hermine Grigoryan, dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Vanadzor State University, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences. The members of the expert panel are Asya Simonyan, teacher at ShSU’s Chair of Theory and Methods of Teaching Physical Education, candidate of pedagogical sciences, Narine Sirakanyan, expert at the Department of Risk Management, Inspection Planning, Analysis and Evaluation of the Education Inspection Body, candidate of pedagogical sciences, Anahit Abrahamyan, first-year student of the Master's programme in Accounting at the Faculty of Economics, Gavar State University.
The international expert is Mieczyslaw Socha, professor at the University of Warsaw.
During the site visits, meetings were held with the GNU’s rector, vice-rectors, representatives of the General Meeting of Participants and Governing Council, employers, students, alumni, heads of chairs and students. “Professional talks” were carried out with the academic programme responsibles, teachers and students of the APs "Armenian Language and Literature", "Economics", "Law". The work of ANQA’s expert panel is coordinated by Varduhi Gyulazyan , head of the Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division. The next process coming after the expert panel’s site visit is the preparation of the expert panel report, which points out the HEI’s strengths and weaknesses and contains the recommendations of the expert panel. ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the HEI’s representatives and experts.
