Within the scope of the Erasmus+ DeSIRe project, soft skills modules/MOOCs will be developed, to be introduced in the consortium partner HEIs from Armenia and Georgia.
On February 26-27, the two-day kick-off meeting of Erasmus+ project Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements (DeSIRe) took place at Vanadzor Technological Center and Vanadzor State University after Hovhannes Tumanyan.
During the two-day meeting, the project’s Armenian and European stakeholders clarified the stages and timelines for the project implementation, presented the defined outcomes and the scope of partners' responsibilities.
Varduhi Gyulazyan, head of ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division, provided insights into the organization’s 15-year activities and achievements. Meri Barseghyan, specialist at ANQA’s Policy Development and Implementation Division, presented the work package of Quality Control and Monitoring, as well as DeSIRe project’s Quality Assurance Guidelines.
Development of Soft Skills at Higher Education Institutions of Armenia and Georgia in Compliance with the 21st Century Labour Market Requirements (DeSIRe) is a three-year Erasmus + project (2024-2027) that aims to ensure inclusive, equal quality education and lifelong learning opportunities for everyone, providing soft and professional skills in line with working career and market requirements.
The coordinator of the project is Vanadzor State University after Hovhannes Tumanyan. 17 partner organizations and HEIs from Armenia, Georgia, Finland, Spain and Ireland are involved in the project.
