On January 20, ANQA held a workshop, which was attended by its specialists and representatives from state VET institutions undergoing accreditation process.
During the workshop, the VET institutions’ representatives raised questions encountered while completing the institutional questionnaire and conducting self-evaluation. ANQA’s specialists answered the questions, providing content-related and technical clarifications.
It was highlighted that, when carrying out self-evaluation, VET institutions should rely on indicators from the past three-five years and provide supporting documents for each criterion, including active links that show their relevance and outcomes.
The discussions focused on the steps VET institutions can take upon identifying issues during the self-evaluation process. It was emphasised that self-evaluation is aimed at the identification of potential issues, allowing VET institutions to address them or plan solutions based on their nature and scope.
It should be noted that ANQA earlier organised a two-day training for the representatives of VET institutions scheduled for accreditation with state funding in 2025, presenting the accreditation procedure, content-related and technical requirements for self-evaluation.
