The European Training Foundation (ETF) organized an online training on "Quality Assurance System in VETs", which was participated by Rosa Babayan, a specialist at ANQA’s Policy Development and Implementation Division, Armenuhi Mheryan and Armenuhi Sargsyan, ANQA’s experts. The training aimed to acquaint the participants with different countries’ practices of quality assurance in primary, and secondary vocational education and training institutions and the European quality assurance policy.
Within the scope of the training, Ireland, Croatia and Austria presented their practice in the context of primary, and secondary vocational education and training institutions’ quality assurance systems.
As a result of the training, ANQA’s representatives got familiar with other countries’ practices of quality assurance of VETs and within the scope of working groups discussed the practices, comparing them with Armenian VETs’ practice of quality assurance and accreditation. The training allowed us to observe Armenia’s quality assurance system of primary and secondary vocational education and training institutions in European countries, to identify similarities and differences.
