On October 3, ANQA carried out a monitoring visit to the Armenian Medical Institute, attaching importance to the study of the education institutions’ processes in the direction of academic programmes’ enhancement after institutional accreditation.
During the monitoring, meetings were held with the education institution’s rector and vice-rectors, managers of Education Quality Assurance and the AP "Medical Case", teachers and students.
During the monitoring, the processes aimed at the formation of learning outcomes, the institution’s steps towards the effectiveness of the learning process and the preparation of hands-on specialists were discussed.
During the discussions, the necessity of changes to the academic programmes based on solid facts, the need for a list of assignments in line with the intended outcomes and its gradual complexity, and the implementation of programmes’ enhancements focused on the analysis of exam results were prioritized. Let us note that the Armenian Medical Institute was accredited in 2021, for a period of four years.
