On May 11, ANQA hosted students who had completed another course on the "Students’ Voice" project. During the meeting, the students shared their ideas about the education quality, the system’s problems and the challenges they face in the process of being prepared as future specialists.
Emphasizing the formation of innovative skills among students, Ruben Topchyan, ANQA’s director, noted: "Students should graduate from the university with the abilities to carry out their job responsibilities in a new and better way".
The meeting also focused on the following issues:
- need to use modern technologies for the preparation of researcher specialists;
- importance of exploratory teachers in the development of analytical thinking among students;
- formation of students' practical skills;
- role of students in the internal quality assurance system.
At the end of the meeting, the "Students’ Voice" project’s participants received certificates of participation in the course. Students of HEIs and VET institutions participated in the trainings, getting knowledge about internal and external education quality systems and forming skills at expert work with the guidance of ANQA’s specialists. The work and cooperation with ANQA do not end after the courses. ANQA includes student experts in the expert database, enabling them both to perform expert work and to engage in its activities
