Today the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance foundation held a meeting with young professors of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. The meeting was managed by ANQA Director Ruben Topchyan.
The participants raised the problems that most often young professors deal with. They discussed the education quality assurance processes in universities. The assessment, the credit system application peculiarities, the methods of promoting learning and student’s involvement in the classes, their effectiveness, modern approaches to teaching, academic program development and professors’ involvement in it were touched upon.
One of the events of the Q-week, which will be held on February 20-24, is dedicated to young professors. ANQA cooperates with Armenian universities to find out actual and all related topics for the workshop.
ANQA has already held a meeting with the young lecturers of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts. It is planned to have meetings with young professors from the Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences, Yerevan State University, Yerevan State Institute Of Theatre And Cinematography, Armenian State Pedagogical University, Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport and State University of Shirak (Gyumri State Pedagogical Institute after M. Nalbandyan).
The lecturers who have distinguished with their activity and innovative proposals during discussions will be invited to participate in the events during the Q-week.
