On March 28, ANQA conducted a monitoring of the internal quality assurance system at the College of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia. Within the scope of the monitoring, meetings were held with the College’s management staff, heads of chairs, teachers, and students. The monitoring aimed to observe the process of quality culture formation and the institution’s best practices in the context of the academic programmes’ implementation.
During the meetings with internal stakeholders, the following issues were discussed:
- Selection of assignments and learning materials in accordance with NQF level 5 the ensure the intended outcomes;
- Implementation of the academic programmes’ monitoring and enhancements;
- Importance of planning, implementation and analysis of class observations’ results;
- Specification of assessment criteria;
- Role of the quality assurance system for data-based decision-making.
At the end of the monitoring, during the meeting with the management staff of the institution, the main outcomes of the monitoring and directions for enhancement were summarized.
