On November 21, ANQA conducted a monitoring of the quality assurance system at Vanadzor State Agricultural College. Within the scope of the monitoring, meetings were held with the College’s management staff, heads of chairs, teachers, students and managers of quality assurance.
At the core of the monitoring were the following issues:
• the enhancements made after the College’s institutional accreditation,
• the process of change management conditioned by changes in legal organizational form,
• the material-technical resource base necessary the ensure the academic programmes’ outcomes,
• the formation of a quality assurance culture.
The possibilities of revision and monitoring of the academic programmes for the training of specialists in line with the demands of the labour market and credible award of qualifications were also discussed during the meetings with the internal stakeholders.
At the end of the monitoring, during the meeting with the College’s management staff, the main results of the monitoring and areas for enhancement were summarized.
It should be noted that the College’s accreditation took place within the scope of the project "Better Qualifications for Better Jobs", implemented through EU funding. As a result of the process, the College was granted conditional institutional accreditation in 2021, for a period of two years
