On June 28, the specialists of the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA) visited Stepanavan State Agricultural College after Professor A. Kalantar to conduct monitoring of the quality assurance system. Within the framework of the monitoring, meetings were held with the College’s director, deputy director, heads of chairs, teachers, students and managers of quality assurance.
The changes made in the College after accreditation, still existing challenges, and processes aimed at strengthening college-employer relations and creating a culture of quality assurance, were at the core of the monitoring. The possibilities of the academic programmes’ revision and monitoring for the preparation of relevant specialists in line with the demands of the labour market and credible award of qualifications were also discussed during the meetings with internal stakeholders.
At the end of the monitoring, during the meeting with the institution’s management staff, the main results of the monitoring and areas for enhancement were summarized.
Let us note that the accreditation of Stepanavan Agricultural College took place within the scope of the project "Better Qualifications for Better Jobs", implemented through EU funding. As a result of the process, the College was granted conditional institutional accreditation in 2021, for two years.
Monitoring of another institution, Gavar State Agricultural College after Academician A. Tamamshev which was accredited within the scope of the same project, will take place on June 30.
