On June 30, the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA) specialists visited Gavar State Agricultural College after Academician A. Tamamshev to monitor the quality assurance system. As part of the monitoring, meetings were held with the College’s director, deputy director, heads of chairs, teachers, students and managers of quality assurance. The changes made in the College after accreditation, still existing challenges, and the processes aimed at strengthening college-employer relations and creating a culture of quality assurance, were at the core of the monitoring.
At the end of the monitoring, during the meeting with the institution’s management staff, the main results of the monitoring and areas for enhancement were summarised. Accreditation of both Stepanavan State Agricultural College and Gavar State Agricultural College took place within the scope of the project "Better Qualifications for Better Jobs" implemented through EU funding. As a result of the process, the College was granted conditional institutional accreditation in 2021, for a period of two years.
