From November 14-17, within the scope of the accreditation process, ANQA’s expert panel is at Martuni State Medical College.
The chair of the expert panel is Mariam Gevorgyan, a teacher at the Faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics at the French University in Armenia, Candidate in Physical and Mathematical Sciences. Other members of the expert panel are Gayane Ghazaryan, head of the internship department at Ararat State Medical College, head of the Chair of Special Professional Subjects, teacher, Heghine Gevorgyan, senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Biotechnology, YSU, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Mari Serobyan, a fourth-year student of the academic programme "Nursing" at Yerevan State Basic Medical College.
The coordinator of the expert panel is Anahit Terteryan, a specialist at ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division.
During the desk review process, the experts studied the College's self-evaluation and the package of documents attached.
On the first day of the site visit, meetings were held with the College’s director and deputy directors, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, employers, and alumni. The expert panel carried out resource observation of the College as well. Today, the expert panel conducted class observations and had meetings with the College’s heads of chairs, teachers, and internal stakeholders.
In the following days, the experts will continue the discussions with the College’s other stakeholders.
Within the scope of the process, meetings will also be held with the managers, teaching staff, and students of the APs "Pharmacy", "Dental Technology" and "Nursing".
The next process coming after the site visit is the preparation of an expert panel report, which points out the College’s strengths and weaknesses and contains the recommendations of the expert panel.
ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the College’s representatives and experts.
