The process coordinator is Varduhi Gyulazyan, head of ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division.
Prior to the site visit, the expert panel studied the education institution's self-evaluation report, the documents attached and conducted a desk review.
As part of the external review, the expert panel conducted class observations and observation of internships and resources. The panel had meetings with the education institution's management staff, the group responsible for the preparation of self-evaluation, members of the governing council, alumni and teachers.
The expert panel had "professional talks" with the managers, teaching staff, and students of the Aps "Organisation of Tourist Services with Advanced Knowledge of a Foreign Language", "Nursing" and "Dental Technician".
Meetings with the quality assurance manager and other stakeholders are also planned.
The process coming after the site visit is the preparation of an expert panel report, which points out the strengths and weaknesses of the institution and contains the recommendations of the expert panel. Based on that report, the education institution will prepare a follow-up plan with a clear schedule.
Next on, ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision whether to grant accreditation or reject it after studying the package of documents and holding meetings with the education institution’s representatives and experts.
Let us note that in 2021, ANQA’s Accreditation Committee granted the Kotayk Regional State College conditional institutional accreditation for a period of 2 years.
