On April 3-5, as part of institutional accreditation, ANQA’s expert panel conducts external review at the International scientific-educational Institution “Pan-Armenia center for Excellence” of the "My Step" Foundation. The chair of the expert panel is Anushavan Makaryan, acting director of the YSU Ijevan branch, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor. The members of the expert panel are Alexander Gusev, leading researcher at MLIT JINR,
Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Maksim Vinnichenko, teacher, manager of the AP “Technical Physics” at the Higher school of engineering physics of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications, Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, PhD in Physics, Associate Professor, Aram Saharyan, head of the Chair of Theoretical Physics, YSU, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Inna Melkonyan, a first-year student of the AP "Bioengineering and Bioinformatics", Armenian-Russian University. The coordinator of the expert panel is Varduhi Gyulazyan, head of ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division.
During the site visit, the expert panel had “professional talks” with the Institution’s management staff, representatives of the Academic Board, director for educational activities and quality assurance manager, scientific director of “Quanta” Master’s Degree Program in Quantum and Mesoscopic Physics, academic staff, students, employers and alumni. The expert panel also visited laboratories and conducted resource observation. Following the external review, ANQA’s Accreditation Committee will make a decision on accreditation, considering the expert panel report, the Institution’s self-evaluation, the package of documents and the follow-up plan based on the expert recommendations.
