On March 26, ANQA organized, an online explanatory meeting for the representatives from 20 VET institutions to undergo institutional accreditation in 2024.
Such meetings aim to address the most frequently asked questions regarding self-evaluation, completion of the electronic questionnaire on institutional data, and external review.
The key questions concerning the VET institutions’ representatives were the following:
- What guidelines should be followed when conducting self-evaluation?
- Is there a size limit to the self-evaluation?
- According to what criteria should the documents referenced in various sections of the self-evaluation be submitted?
- How will the APs under review be selected?
- Who can be considered employer teachers?
- How should VET institutions undergoing re-accreditation update the electronic questionnaire on institutional data, and etc.?
ANQA’s specialists answered the questions of the representatives from the VET institutions and provided clarification on technical issues. Such explanatory meetings occur regularly. Previously, ANQA conducted a training for VET institutions on "How to Conduct Self-evaluation".
It should be noted that in 2024, ANQA will carry out institutional accreditation of 20 VET institutions. 12 of these institutions will undergo institutional accreditation for the first time, while over 8 are in the re-accreditation process.
