From November 20 to 23, the ANQA expert group will visit Gavar State University within the framework of institutional accreditation.
The expert group had meetings with the rector of the university, vice-rectors, the self-evaluation group, the board of trustees, deans, heads of chairs, students, graduates and employers. Carried out the monitoring of the university resources.
The expert group is headed by Tigran Mnatsakanyan, UNICEF Senior Expert, Stakeholder Coordinator at "Ayb" Educational Foundation.
The members of the expert group are Aram Mkhitaryan; Associate Professor of the Chair of Economics and Management at the European University, Candidate of Economics, Gevorg Barseghyan, Master of "Complex (Practical) Legal Research", Tatevik Davtyan; Acting Head of the YSU Chair of Civil Law, Associate Professor, Member of the Georgetown Union of Foreign Lawyers․ Sophie Peters; ICHEC Brussels Management School (leading Business School in Brussels), Vice-Rector international relations and accreditation, Member of the Board of Directors, Member of the Taskforce for quality and accreditation, Commissioner for Nederlands Vlaams accreditation organisation NVAO.
The coordinator of the expert group is Meri Barseghyan; ANQA Policy Development and Implementation Division specialist.
After the external evaluation, the decision on accreditation of the educational institution will be made by the ANQA Accreditation Committee, based on the expert report, the college self-analysis and the follow-up plan.
