In the near future, as part of the institutional accreditation, site visits will take place at six VET institutions, namely Gavar State Agricultural College after Academician A. Tamamshev, Basic College of Mesrop Mashtots University, Medical College Named after Pharmacist-Artist Levon Sargsyan, Armavir Regional State College, Alaverdi State College, Syunik Regional State College.
On September 11, ANQA’s director and head of the Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division held a meeting with members and coordinators of six VET institutions’ expert panels.
The meeting centered on the key issues identified from the VET institutions’ desk reviews and the peculiarities of the site visit.
It was emphasised that the experts should work in an atmosphere of mutual trust during the site visit. It was highlighted that expert panel reports need to be as clear and problem-solving as possible, with targeted enhancement-led recommendations offering clear path to solutions.

- the data-based decision-making and strategic management,
- the credibility of the qualifications awarded by the VET institutions.
The discussion also covered the impact of accreditation on VET institutions, including the enhancement of academic programmes, the assignments related to employer demands, the link between outcomes and assessment criteria.
