On June 13-14, the fifth annual meeting of BFUG TPG C on Quality Assurance was held in Constanta, Romania. Varduhi Gyulazyan, head of ANQA’s Institutional and Programme Accreditation Division, participated as Armenia’s representative.
The agenda featured a number of key issues concerning the modernisation and development of quality assurance systems, including:
- the action plans of the TPG C on Quality Assurance members;
- the digitisation of quality assurance;
- the Tirana Communiqué ;
- the fundamental values of the EHEA;
- the policy for quality assurance of micro-credentials.
During the meeting, Varduhi Gyulazyan presented the implementation process of the RA quality assurance plan, emphasising the development of an effective model for programme accreditation and the analysis of the legal framework for the quality assurance of micro-credentials.
In the discussions on leveraging AI in QA processes, ANQA shared the best practice in using AI for thematic text analyses.
The participants also outlined the topics that will be a focus for the next four years:
- the quality assurance of transnational HEIs;
- the internal quality assurance of HEIs and quality assurance agencies,
- the quality assurance of micro-credentials.
