A session of the ANQA Accreditation Committee took place on January 15th. The institutional accreditation of Crisis Management State Academy of MES RA, Vanadzor State University after H. Tumanyan, and the University of Traditional Medicine were on the agenda.
The members of the Accreditation Committee discussed the external evaluation reports of these HEIs, positive and negatively assessed criteria, issues, and achievements in 10 criteria of accreditation.
This is the second phase of accreditation for CMSA and VSU. Therefore the AC members thoroughly reviewed the progress of these educational institutions since the last accreditation as well as the implementation of the previous follow-up plan.
The implementation reality of the current follow-up plans of 3 HEIs was also discussed.
By the decision of the Accreditation Committee CMSA and VSU received institutional accreditation for 4 years. The University of Traditional Medicine received conditional institutional accreditation for 2 years.
Note that the first time CMSA had received conditional institutional accreditation for 2 years in 2017, and VSU had been accredited for 4 years in 2015.
