Yerevan State Brusov University of Languages and Social Sciences and Police Educational Complex received institutional accreditation for 4 years.
A session of the Accreditation Committee took place at ANQA. The Accreditation of these two educational institutions was on the agenda.
Margarita Poghosyan, head of the expert panel, which had implemented an external evaluation at YSULSS, presented the strengths and weaknesses of the University, as well as the results of University’s follow-up plan implementation. Poghosyan highlighted that the University had generally implemented its follow-up plan after the first accreditation. However, according to the expert panel chair, the University has a lot of work to do towards enhancement, especially in the field of research and resources.
Gagik Ktryan, expert panel chair of Police Educational Complex, presented the strengths and weaknesses of the Educational Complex and the feasibility of its follow-up plan. The representatives of the Educational Complex highlighted the importance of expert counseling and assured their eagerness to take steps toward the follow-up plan implementation and enhancement.
As a result of closed-door discussion and voting, the Accreditation Commission granted institutional accreditation to both educational institutions for a term of 4 years. This is YSULSS's second accreditation. The university received its first institutional accreditation for four years in 2015.
