Ruben Topchyan, Director of the National Quality Assurance Center Foundation, attended a three-day workshop on "Reforming Doctoral Education in Armenia in line with needs of academia, industry and current EU practices" (ARMDOCT) Erasmus + Capacity Development Program.
During the three-day workshop ANQA director R.Topchyan participated in a panel discussion on "Redesigning the Regulations on the award of academic degrees in the RA in line with the new national policy", in a workgroup on "Redesigning the SUPERVISION requirements, roles, and responsibilities" and in FAIR of Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE projects targeting scientific research and development, during which he presented the C3QA (Promoting internationalization of research through establishment and operationalization of Cycle 3 Quality Assurance System in line with the European Integration Agenda) project.
The ARMDOCT project addresses an urgent need in Reforming Doctoral Education (DE) in Armenia in line with the Salzburg Principles with the emphasis on policy, legal framework (including by-laws) and institutional procedures supporting integrative and internationally-oriented doctoral studies involving universities, research institutions and industry.
