The National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance (ANQA) conducts monitoring in 5 colleges which will undergo an institutional accreditation soon. The 5 colleges are Kotayk State Regional College, Shirak State Regional College, Lori State Regional College, Ararat State College, and Yerevan State College of Informatics.
The colleges will undergo an institutional accreditation for the first time, so the process is a novelty for them. Considering the fact, ANQA closely works with the colleges to help them to get ready for the accreditation.
At the current stage of preparations, ANQA trained two staff members from each college as experts. Now they, together with ANQA staff and experts, participate in the external evaluation of their own educational institution as experts. Later they will help their colleagues to enhance the processes and issues which were identified during the monitoring․
Earlier the colleges conducted a SWOT analysis according to the scope of accreditation criteria. And the monitoring will focus on the analysis.
The goal of the process is to prepare colleges for in-depth, complete self-analysis.
