How to apply AI in quality assurance processes? ANQA presented its practice at ENQA Members’ Forum. On April 17-19, the ENQA Members' Forum was held in Hanover. ANQA, represented by Director Ruben Topchyan and Head of Institutional and Programme Accreditation Devision Varduhi Gyulazyan, also took part in the Forum. During the plenary session “Artificial Intelligence: hero or villain for QA?”, ANQA presented the methodology and outcomes from the “Impact of Institutional Accreditation on Armenian HEIs: An AI-Assisted Analysis from 2011-2023”. The QQI and NVAO also shared their respective practices. ANQA’s presentation sparked great interest among the participants. In the near future, there are plans to discuss the opportunities of ANQA’s methodology with the representatives from the agencies of the participating countries. As part of the topic "Quality assurance and Change", ENQA members discussed the changes, challenges and present-day issues related to quality assurance policy within the European Higher Education Area. During the Forum, a reference was also made to:
- quality assurance cycles and opportunities to achieve increasingly better outcomes over time;
- transnational education quality assurance, tools and opportunities;
- quality assurance of micro-credentials and the possibility of using ESGs in external review processes for micro-credentials;
- cooperation between HEI-quality assurance agency as part of the implementation of the follow-up plan and mechanisms for resolving possible disagreements.
