ANQA has launched regular training of experts to involve them in further processes of VETs’ accreditation.
Ruben Topchyan, ANQA’s director, presented the main mission of the expert: "An expert is someone who notices what doesn't work in college and why showing ways to succeed. The expert must have a lot of accumulated practice, generalize it and be able to propose mechanisms of the solution by considering a particular case".
Accreditation criteria and their application in VETs have also been introduced.
In the following days, the training’s participants will observe an example of self-evaluation within a standard and prepare questions based on which they will try to identify big issues during the roleplay.
Based on the answers, the participants will perform a desk review. After the training, the participants who showed the best results will join the expert panels for future accreditations.
