Mkhitar Gosh Armenian-Russian International University received conditional accreditation for two years and Yerevan Agrarian University’s accreditation was rejected. Such a decision was made by The Accreditation Committee of the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance Foundation during the meeting held on July 3rd.
These are the last two universities that passed accreditation within the framework of ‘’Education Quality and Relevance” 2nd loan program of the World Bank.
According to the Accreditation procedure, the university with the conditional accreditation must make a report to ANQA on follow-up plan implementation every six months. And the university with accreditation rejection can apply again for accreditation after solving problems mentioned by the experts.
Earlier ANQA Accreditation Committee has granted accreditation for 6 years to 1 university, accreditation for 4 years to 8 universities, conditional accreditation for 2 years to 1 university and has rejected the accreditation of 1 university.
