Quality assurance events within the framework of ANQA’s 10th-anniversary events are being conducted in Artsakh. The conference entitled "Trustworthy Qualifications and Accreditation" kicked off on 20 June at Artsakh State University.
Narine Aghbalyan, the minister of Education, Science and Sport od Artsakh, Ruben Topchyan, ANQA director and Armen Sargsyan, the rector on Artsakh State University welcomed the participants of the event.
The N. Aghbalyan, the minister of Education, Science and Sport od Artsakh, congratulated ANQA on the occasion of the 10th anniversary and on behalf of the Ministry awarded with a certificate for its contribution to the development of professional education quality assurance in AR and its interest in communication with AR.
Emphasizing the importance of the HEIs’ accreditation, the Minister, expressed confidence in fruitful communication of ANQA with HEIs of Artsakh.
Within the framework of the two-day conference, the specialists of HEIs, education managers and field responsibles discussed the topics: “Ongoing reforms, challenges and ways of overcoming them” and “Communication, establishing and applying quality assurance mechanisms, the experience exchange”.
ANQA specialists also conducted 3 practical workshops on the “Implementation of self-assessment”, “Preparation of experts to the review”, “Preparation of student experts to the review”.
After the conference, a pilot internal review will be implemented in Artsakh State University. ANQA specialists will implement monitoring.
