The 2017 EQAF, organized by ENQA, ESU, EUA and EURASHE, will take place on 23-25 November 2017, hosted by the University of Latvia in Riga, Latvia.
The European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) provides a platform for discussion, professional development and exchange of experiences among the main stakeholders in quality assurance (QA).
Through a mix of plenary and parallel sessions, the 2017 EQAF, entitled ‘Responsible QA: committing to impact’, will combine practice-oriented or research-based discussions that will take place in the paper sessions and workshops with presentations of current developments in quality assurance.
One of the workshops entitled “Quality assurance of programmes and effective communication with employers; frameworks and tools” will be held by ANQA.
The workshop will offer participants a framework for effective communication between higher education institutions and employers as well as measures for aligning entire academic programmes with national qualifications frameworks and diversifying students’ assessment.
The participants will learn an academic programme review methodology and will become acquainted with tools to find out the employers’ context and use it in assessment practices. A sample of guidelines for aligning academic programmes with national qualifications frameworks will also be presented from internal and external quality assurance perspectives.
